Caress IFundWomen COVID-19 Grant Recipient
IFundWomen of Color was created with Caress to help diverse female founders bring their dreams into reality through raising capital via crowdfunding and providing grants, coaching, and the connections needed to launch and grow successful businesses.
Caress was saddened by the severe impact that COVID-19 is wreaking on communities and on small businesses and entrepreneurs. They recognize that in this critical time, small businesses are struggling immensely and the disadvantages that women of color entrepreneurs face are only growing. As a founding partner of IFundWomen of Color, Caress is proud to be supporting 200 women of color owned small businesses with $500,000 in grants for COVID-19 relief.
I am proud to be a recipient of the COVID-19 grant in cohort 8 among many other talented female founders. It is an honor to be recognized for my work as a founder. It is during this time that we need each other and receiving this grant has provided much needed access to capital, coaching and and networking opportunities through IFundWomen. I am grateful for this opportunity and support by IFundWomen and Caress.
Receiving this grant will help further the mission of my company Castango to provide more job opportunities for talent nationwide.
